: The specialized Bank in Consumer Finance, member of the Leading Group Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance

January 13th, 2011. Emporiki Credicom changes its name and is renamed Credicom Consumer Finance.  This change completes its integration in the Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance Group and strengthens its relations with all the members of the wider Credit Agricole Group.

Εmporiki Credicom emerged in 2003, from the strategic alliance of Emporiki Bank and Sofinco, member of Credit Agricole Group, aiming to develop a pioneering banking model in Greece, specialized in consumer credit.
 
Aiming to maximize the operational functionality of the members of the Crédit Agricole Group, Sofinco being the corresponding Crédit Agricole Group business line, acquired the 100% of the Emporiki Credicom’s share capital, at the beginning of 2010.
 
On April 2010, following the merger of the two specialized companies of the Credit Agricole Group, Sofinco & Finaref, Credit Agricole Consumer Finance was created.With a loan portfolio of 75.8 billion, presence in 22 countries, 19,2% market share in the French market, first market position in many other markets, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, as leading provider in consumer credit in France and Europe.
Εmporiki Credicom as a fully subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, was renamed Credicom Consumer Finance.
 
This change of name and the new corporate identity reflects the Groups’ commitment to support the business development of its members but also the commitment of its members to embrace the values of the Group for responsible growth and support of the real economy.
 
A new era is created, under a common corporate identity, common vision as well as common strategic and development goals.
In the new corporate identity, the Credicom Consumer Finance image is combined with  the emblem and the colors of Credit Agricole Group,  strengthening its image, as it now belongs to one of the biggest financial groups. Thus, the position of the company in the market is empowered, due to the financial prosperity of the Crédit Agricole Group, which operates in 70 countries, employs 160.000 people and services 59 million customers.
